Wedding Cakes

The price of wedding cakes can vary significantly from one cake designer to another depending on the style, complexity, number of tiers and handmade additions. My bespoke luxury wedding cakes are handcrafted using the highest quality ingredients and freshly baked to order. In order to give each cake the individual time, attention and love it deserves, I only ever undertake one wedding cake commission at any one time. That way you can be assured that my full attention is on creating the perfect centre-piece for you.

Each individual sponge tier is 4 layers tall as standard (approx. 5.5"-6"), creating a striking visual display. Extra tall tiers (6 layers) are also available. Each tier can be paired with various fillings of your choice, from traditional vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam to homemade lemon curd buttercream and blueberry preserve, and many others.

I offer a variety of options and styles for additional decoration to turn your dream wedding cake into a reality, including handcrafted wafer paper flowers, handcrafted sugar paste flowers, fresh flowers and seasonal fruits, etc.

Due to their size and fragile nature, I usually deliver and set up all my multi-tier wedding cakes by hand.

Semi-Naked

Covered with a thin outer layer of buttercream frosting, which is scraped at the edges to let the cake layers show through. Rustic in nature and usually decorated with fresh flowers and/or seasonal fruits/berries.

Full Buttercream

Full buttercream-covered cakes offer an alternative to sugar paste whilst still allowing many options for decorating. The buttercream can be made in a multitude of flavours and colours to complement the choice of sponge and overall design.

Chocolate Ganache

Each cake is covered in a sumptuous layer of Belgian chocolate ganache that forms the main outer covering and can be finished in a variety of textures and colours. A unique alternative that still allows many options for decorating.

Sugar Paste (Fondant Icing)

Sugar paste, also known as fondant, is a soft edible icing that can be used as an outer covering. Cakes are firstly covered in a layer of Belgian chocolate ganache and then covered in sugar paste to achieve a flawless sharp edge. When using sugar paste the decoration possibilities are endless.
